I love you, Cuppycake ♥

This is a refashion for the same friend I refashioned for a post or two ago...same style shirt to start off with, in fact! It was very large, as you can tell, soo, first thing I had to do was take it in....way in.

I still have a lot, A LOT, to learn. The neckline and hems on the sleeves need some help, but, its a lot better than it was originally! I hope she likes it!

and...cause I'm a nerd:

I love me some cupcakes!

From His to Hers

I didn't steal this from my husband, I actually got it at a little dinky thrift store down the street. They have a last chance rack where you can fill a bag for $2 and this was one of my finds!  I have always liked baseball shirts, but they never fit right, so, I MADE it fit right!  :)  From a 2XL men's, to me!  I'm gettin' the hang of this!

Refashion for a friend!

To begin, I apologize for the bad pictures of my shirt.  I've become quite the refashion blog junkie lately!  I found this adorable refashion here.
I was chatting with a friend and told her I would going to refashion a shirt for her, and as I was, I thought I'd try to mimic the great detail from the above one!  This is what I started with (again, picture is horrible, from my phone, lol, in my bathroom)...I had already pinned it, but you can see how big and blah it is.

I took it WAY in (tried to make it a little tight for me since my friend is a smaller).

I am very new to sewing,a nd horrible at sewing necklines, if anyone has some pointers, tutorials, anything, it'd be much appreciated!  Considering how I've only refashioned one other thing...I think it came out really well!  I can't wait to see a picture of my friend in it!  :)

my first ever refashion!

Hi!!! I am so excited to join you!  I've wanted a sewing machine for quite some time.  I'm a housewife/stay at home mom, and I've found lots of neat ways to save money, and this is my newest!  Anyway, here is my very first refashion.  I have tons to learn about sewing, but here it is! I'm happy with it!  :)  I got this shirt at Savers for $4.99, loved the neat pockets, but didn't like the flowy sleeves, so...I got rid of them!  Happy sewing!
